After more than 53,000 kilometers of pedaled adventures, 62 months in the saddle and hundreds of volcanoes away from our departure point, Vancouver, BC, our everlasting "cyclovolcanic" quest is ALMOST completed! ....
We truly hope that Nitropro still wish to be associated with our activities and take active part into the realization of our Cycling the Pacific Ring of Fire expedition. Seatposts we received last year worked very well for us. Eastern Indonesia's potholed roads and Russia's Far East industrial gravel tracks provided us with great testing grounds for suspensions system which took a lot of the toll for us.

Hi Mark! All is good at Alumaline?
Our return to the road, in Indonesia, has been very eventful so far, riding through the rainy season on the remote islands of Lembata, Flores, Sumbawa, and not so isolated Lombok. We are now back on Bali, in Padangbai, preparing ourselves for our return to Japan and flight to Narita. We will be landing this coming Saturday (April 7th).
We encountered some rough terrain along the way and new seatposts performed with mention...wow! Every bump seems to trigger a bullet of relief down there...loving it! To us, it seems to be more reactive that previous units we used. Making sense? By the way, did the used ones make it back to your headquarters? They were mailed out of Vancouver in early February...

Hi J +P
If you can send back the seaposts we can replace them
with new ones. We would like to look at the seatposts
to evaluate there performance.
Best regards,
Mark Svendsen

Odometer indicates that 9,950 kilometers have been ridden
since the elapse of Ring of Fire part 3, in Manila, and Nitropro seatposts
still provide a smooth ride. We lubed then only one more time since we
last discussed their performance…
