RING OF FIRE Seatposts we received last year worked
very well for us....We encountered some rough terrain along the way
and new seatposts performed with mention...wow! Every bump seems to
trigger a bullet of relief down there...loving it!

...after 15 miles of rutted forest tracks unit became very responsive with none of the pogoing or bottoming out I have experienced with some elastomer units....Through the test period I was impressed with the consistent quality
of dampening and build quality. Michael Stenning, Cycling Plus

...The damping mechanism built into the gas
spring of the NitroPro is about perfect. I never felt that the post
was trying to eject me from the saddle. It always returned to the
top of its stroke smoothly in a controlled manner.
...The NitroPro seat post has about a smooth
an action as I have ever felt in a seat post,
and the expanding key
keeps the post moving up and down, not rotating side to
side....Summary... put it plainly, it works well.
...the rider is rewarded
with a
noticeably smoother ride. I
heartily recommend it to anyone
still riding a hard tail mountain bike. James Sharp is a contributing editor for

NitroPro offers a solution
by coupling a coil spring with pressurized nitrogen
gas. On the
trail, the NitroPro is definitely plush and takes big hits with
ease. Compared to other suspension posts I've
ridden, the NitroPro feels the most
full-suspension-like...
Overall, the
NitroPro is on the right track with using pressurized
nitrogen. Coil springs and elastomers can be geared
toward either big hits or small vibrations; the NitroPro excels at
both...All suspension posts have positive and negative aspects -- the
NitroPro just has a few more strengths and a few less
weaknesses. by Dain Zaffke "The NitroPro moves into action
and
smoothly
(ever so
smoothly) compresses and rebounds
back to its fully extended
position.
We
wish
more forks had
action as smooth as the NitroPro.
This
is a big step forward in suspension seatpost performance."
"If
you currently employ a suspension seatpost, the NitroPro would be a serious upgrade.
You won't
believe
the adjustability, amount of travel and quality of
travel."

Well thought out design. Well executed.
Easy to maintain...It DOES do what it was designed to do. That was 3
years ago...it is still working perfectly. There is no sign of wear
or side play...It is in fact similar to a full sus bike.
Not the massive travel but extremely
effective in absorbing painful bumps.

I bought this seat post to save my
lower back, and it really works....it hasn't given me a
lick of trouble...it's smooth as butter but feels
strong...If you want to take impact of your lower back
this is great.

It out performs
every other suspension post currently on the market
simply because of the engineering and superb damping
action that it employs. It is ultra smooth and really does a great
job of soaking up small and medium ripples , roots and bumps on the
trail.

Hot damn, my
Bontrager has been reborn! I'm no longer jealous of my
wife's full suspension ride. I've just tried this on a
local trail and it worked remarkably well. Made me realize how
crappy my old Judys are up front by comparison. Hit
roots with no problem at full speed sitting
down...

I ride all year if
it is dry and over 40 degrees and I appreciate the
dampening that this seatpost provides especially since
I weight near 200 pounds. Many seatposts are available for lighter
riders, however, heavier riders have fewer choices. This is one
excellent choice.

Does what it
is suppose to do absorbs shock and makes riding a
hardtail a pleasure....Customer service was helpful
and informative. I received the part in five days! Four flames for
high price and five flames for performance of seatpost and good
customer service. Recommend for any
hardtail.

stability of the ride...this product makes accelerating over rough
terrain a lot easier

smooooooth so very smoooooth, looks
sweet and feels so good!
When i
rode the nitro pro for the first time it was like
heaven the seat post absorbed little and big bumps like a
champ...
no rebound... 0... none...
no feeling like you
are going over the bars after that big bump. it smooths out almost any bump, the
tension adjustment is great and easy
to use, have yet to feel any sticktion...seat post
looks and rides great.
one of the best purchases i have
made since i got the
bike.

I really love using this seatpost.
Some good things include butter like
smoothness, highly tunable pre-load lets me choose the
ride I need for single track or for street riding.
Play adjustment works quiet well. Used
adjustment only once in 6 months. Not at all bouncy like other
s.seatposts. If you want complete
shock absorption without any bounce then NitroPro will give you
that. Plan on buying a second one for my wife.

No stiction,
Very adjustable, Ultra smooth motion...
This one is stands out from the
rest. Overcomes problems of past designs. Gas
suspension really is much more shock absorbing than elastomers. Does
not seem to have any stiction even after a year of use.
Customer service is top notch, friendly and helpful. I tore
the boot in a crash and received a new one the next day.
Initial cost is high but there is nothing to
rebuild which I like a lot. Should last a long
time. Five flaming chillis!

Absorbtion, Travel, High quality, No
maintenance, Looks good...
I did not know a pogo stick design
could be this comfortable...This post tames the most
ferocious trails. I can ride just about any trail in comfort even
the tough ones. Easy to preload with flat blade screw driver -
no more searching for special hex wrench. Pretty much service
free so far I have not had to lube it or anything. Have not felt any
sticktion yet, a big bonus! ...Quality is very
high you can hear the gas spring quietly working
inside as you push down on the seat and it rebounds a soft
woosh is heard - Neeto! No creaks or rubbing
noises just smooth as silk movement. Excellent!
