How it Works
This remarkable seat post
uses a gas
spring and a soft
coil spring that work together
to suspend the
rider. The gas spring supports the rider while the coil spring provides progressive
compression. Because the gas spring carries most
of the load the coil spring can be much softer
(35 lbs/in. instead
of 100-160 lbs/in.) This combination of
gas/coil spring produce a superbly soft suspension not available until
now. So unique is the concept it won a U.S. patent .

HIGH SHOCK ABSORPTION!
Gas/Coil
spring designis extremely responsive. A gas spring and soft
coil spring work together to
absorb most of the impact, therefore less of the
impact is transferred to the rider.
REDUCED VIBRATION TRANSFER Gas
charged springs with internal oil
dampening
neutralize vibrations. As the
gas spring compresses and then smoothly rebounds,
the rider is isolated from almost all vibration.

Teflon bearings are designed to transfer
a micro layer of Teflon onto the ground surface
of the stanchion creating a Teflon to Teflon
interface for stictionless movement for
the full travel.

NitroPro
History
We introduced the
NitroPro prototypes at Interbike and received a great deal of
interest from large manufactures such as Trek, Roadmaster,
Scott, and several large distributors. Mountain Biker
magazine said it was "the most sophisticated
suspension seatpost we've seen" Because of the
great interest in the NitroPro it was clear that the
suspension seat post should be developed.
